5-Step Quick Guide to Choosing Your Silverback Stack

1

CHOOSING THE CORRECT SERIES

350C Series

For the Older Classic Truck or any Truck built prior to EURO V (ADR80/03), basically 2009 or earlier.
As Traditional chrome discolours at 315ºC - 370ºC this series will not withstand the temperature that the new EURO-V standard imposes.

For later model trucks (excluding cab overs) running SCR motors, the 350C Series can be used by adding the AdBlue upgrade.
This is then covered by a 12-month warranty against corrosion in the right application.

650C SERIES

Components are tested to withstand temperatures of up to 650ºC. This series utilizes a multiphase proprietary system that prevents the chrome discolouring at high temperatures, resists the corrosive effects of Urea Re-Agents and under normal use will not corrode internally.

350C Series + ADBLUE Upgrade

This is a carefully applied coating that has been formulated to endure the acidic conditions the AdBlue creates.
Generally applied to 350C Series when heat from the DPF is not an issue.

When ordering please add “-ADBL” to the end of the 350 code. i.e CRS7548AP-ADBL

Ad-Blue Upgrade

650C SERIES UPGRADE (Now Includes Curve Extension)

As temperatures can exceed 650C on EGR-DPF motors, we have improved this series to protect against discolouration from temperatures exceeding 650C.
This is achieved by incorporating an inner sleeve with the AdBlue Upgrade to the full length of the stack (including the curve). This creates a multiphase proprietary system that prevents the chrome discolouring and provides an internal Armour to the corrosive effects of Urea Re-Agents. Available in all reduced sizes and styles in the Silverback range.

When ordering please add “-650” to the end of the 350 code. i.e CRS7548AP-650

Cab-Over EGR-DPF Upgrade

KW 2.1 CAB SERIES Upgrade

The 2.1 Cab presents a different fitment and bracket system to all previous Kenworths. This upgrade includes the AdBlue protective armour combined with an inlet extension that is perfectly suited to the Kenworth 2.1 Cab Series models. (i.e. T610, T410) Available in all reduced sizes and styles in the Silverback range.

When ordering please add “-KWEXT” to the end of the 350 code. i.e CRS7548AP-KWEXT

CHOOSING THE CORRECT TYPE

MONSTER

THE NEW SEAMLESS INTERLOCKING CHROME EXHAUST in 6", 7" and 8"

The Key to the MONSTER Setup is the SEAMLESS INTERLOCKING which is achieved through a special reduced end called a TAPERLOC. The TAPERLOC end is on both the CENTRE SPOOL and the ELBOW. This enables ANY TOP STACK to slip onto the SPOOL and thus the SPOOL to slip onto the ELBOW. These two joints are then hidden with a WIDE CLAMP to give the overall AWESOME appearance of ONE CONTINUOUS exhaust stack.
